Papa's Boy

Drew loves his Papa and going to the park. Going to the park WITH Papa qualifies as a great day in his book! Brad and Breckyn met us up there. Drew ran from Papa to Grandma and back all day long. He thought it was very fun. While he was swinging he had to show us all his funny faces. He's quite the little entertainer!

Barber Daddy

Drew's hair grows SO FAST! Lord knows we could never get him to sit down or still for a "real" haircut; so Daddy got out the clippers on the deck! Drew was a trooper and held pretty still while we cut it all off. When we were walking upstairs for a bath I asked him where all his hair went. He looked out the window and told me, "outside mama!"

Little Dutch Boy

We know how much Drew loves being outside and playing with the water. We gave him one of Breckyn's buckets filled with water and a paintbrush. Now, thanks to Drew, the slide has a fresh coat of "water"!

Soccer Star

We still have a way to go, but Drew loves to sit in his rocking chair and play catch. Hopefully he gets his athletic abilities from his Daddy and not his Mommy!

Funny Faces

My little man is one of MANY faces. Since he was tiny he loved showing us all of his different expressions. Right now he rotates through his "ugly", "happy", and "ohhh" faces. They are pretty funny.

Big Stuff

Thanks to the Jasper family for letting us borrow their slide. We keep it on the deck and it's perfect for a quick burst of energy! Drew loves to slide down, but even better is to climb up the slide! He sticks his head through the circles to give kisses and loves to take a paintbrush with water and "paint" the slide.

We attended the annual Jasper 4th of July Party at our friend's house. It's such a fun evening and they go all out to make sure the kids have a GREAT time! This year the festivities started off with a parade. The kids decorated their bikes and wagons and we rode around the block and ended at the party. Drew rode in his wagon for the first stretch of the parade, but ended up watching it from his stroller. Once at the party we enjoyed some great dinner, tons of toys, a pinata, snow cones, snaps, sparklers, and an AMAZING fireworks display. Even the rain didn't stop us from having a great time! Drew was a trooper and made it until bedtime. We put him to bed, but he woke up when the fireworks started. He sat on Mom's lap and then my lap clapping and pointing at all the fireworks. I'm so glad he's not scare of them! :) What a great day!
