Bamm Bamm

Touchdown!
Hmmm...what does this thing do?

Drew came out a noisy baby. There's no doubt he's 100% boy and LOVES loud noises. He's not afraid of anything that makes a loud or sudden noise, in fact he's attracted to it! Not only does he love noisy things; but he loves MAKING loud noises. He's constantly banging and slamming things around. Papa has called him Bamm Bamm for these very reasons. So, when I was shopping the other day and found this shirt- it was just too perfect!

Corn Cobs

Drew was insistant that he get in on the corn cob action at dinner! He screamed all through dinner until we finally gave in (I know...) and let him have some. It was pretty cute! :)

Zoo Fun

He loved riding the train, but didn't follow the "keep arms & legs inside the train" rule very well.

We stopped by the lake for a picnic lunch. They loved watching the duck as they ate.

Too big to ride...wanted to help Daddy push.

We took Drew and Breckyn to the Zoo for a morning of fun. The weather was perfect and the Zoo wasn't crowded at all. We were able to hop right on the train and ride the carousel a couple times. The kids had a great time and Drew was so excited to see a giraffe up close!

Circles!

We've been working on learning our shapes and I think Drew finally has the circle down pat! We give him his big tub of shapes and then if I ask him to pull out the circles he climbs into his rocking chair and lines them up on the arm. It's pretty cute. Usually if I ask him to pull out a red or a green he will even get the colors right. We're pretty sure he's gifted! :)

Branson Bound!

The whole clan! What a perfect trip!
(Amanda- Brad- Breckyn- Dad- Mom- Me- Drew- Jeff)

The family photo after 8 HOURS at Silver Dollar City! We had perfect weather and had just finished a funnel cake- that's why we're all still happy! :)

MORE snacking!

Yeah...I'm big stuff...I eat corndogs now!

Great toys- these were big magnets. He loved playing with these.

Doing a little "dot-art" with mommy for kids fest at Silver Dollar City

Papa getting Drew!

They had fountains that shot water out at random. Mommy left the water shoes back at the hotel, so we just let him play in his clothes and put his swim trunks on later. Little backwards! He LOVED these things. We have some great video!

The tube was a huge vaccum and sucked all the balls up. Drew thought it was great!

Taking a snack break with Daddy.

Drew LOVED the little rides he was tall enough for. The higher and the faster the better. I'm pretty sure he'll be like his Daddy in that department!
Attempting to get a family photo...
Love those blue eyes!
They had huge tables of colored sand. Drew loved playing with Breckyn. After "tasting" a handful, Mommy decided we were done with the sand and was glad we didn't try out the beach this year!
Papa was buying taffy, so we decided to make some noise outside.

At Silver Dollar City with Breckyn- SO EXCITED to go in and start the day!
Just checking out grandma's "honk"...
Papa always got Drew's belly before he could get to his nose!
Drew thought it was very funny to "honk" everyone's nose. Amanda had the best honk!
Don't worry guys...I'll get the noodles!
An afternoon at the pool is hard work!
Breckyn & a fountain...this is the best day ever!
Are you sure I'll float with this thing?
Yeah...you guys unpack...I'm just going to wait here until you get the food ready!

We decided to take Drew on a short weekend trip to test the waters and see what traveling with our little man would be like. We convinced Mom, Dad, Brad, Breckyn, and Brad's girlfriend Amanda to go along with us. We loaded up two cars and headed down to Branson for a long weekend. We had a condo with a couple bedrooms and a kitchen which was great since the kids were pretty tired at dinner time. We played at the pool and had a PERFECT 8 hour day at Silver Dollar City. Breckyn and Drew had a great time on the kid rides and Amanda & Jeff were in contest to see who had the stronger stomach on the adult rides- it was a tie. Here are some pics from our weekend and a link to the big album. I took TONS of pictures! :)

Drew LOVES helping water the flowers on the deck, even if there isn't a hose attached! If the neighbor dog comes out, that's even better. He gets the biggest kick out of waving to the dog. You'll also notice the newest "face". Not only do we have an "ugly" and "happy" face; but also an "ohhh" face. It generally comes out when he's in trouble or needs to make you laugh. Of course it always works! The last picture still cracks me up. For whatever reason he thinks it's great when we start to drain the pool water and claps. Of course when we go to pull him out he has a total meltdown...
